The tower of Morro D'Oro
There are no traces left of the ancient castle built in the 14th century. The tower though has been recently restored to its past splendour. On a square plan, built in bricks, with barrel and cloister vaults, and scarp wall. The bastion and the tower are typical of constructions used for defence in the 14th – 15th centuries in the area belonging to the province of Teramo. The brickwork of the walls was originally in stones, finished with well connected thin bricks, typical of this area, and a sequence of open square holes.
